Creative Optimization is a vital aspect of any digital marketing campaign. Understanding which elements of your creative garner the most attention and engagement from your audience can help determine the best course of action for your campaign. Taking this into account, the Data Sciences team designed the creative heatmaps tool which has added a new dimension of creative optimization within Dentsu
Users have utilized the feature to determine whether a brand’s creative is garnering the audience’s attention while others have used the score to generate iterations of performing creatives to use in new campaigns. Regardless, one feedback we frequently received was that the heatmaps were restricted only to creatives used in live campaigns and that even campaign planners could derive utility from this tool while setting up the campaign.
Therefore, taking this into account we have designed an iteration of the existing heatmaps tool that lets you generate a heatmap on any image. All you need to do is-
1- Upload an image (a PNG file) or
2- Enter the URL of a dashboard or website
VisionTrace can help planners determine which creatives are likely to engage with the audience before the campaign goes live. Additionally, it helps agency teams to understand if the right elements are in focus on the campaign’s landing page and accordingly provide recommendations to the client.
To access the tool, follow the steps below –
1- Log in to Dentsu Marketing Cloud
2- Navigate to Beta tools
3- Select VisionTrace
