Understanding the Client Portfolio on Dentsu Marketing Cloud.
The client portfolio is an attempt to create an ecosystem for dentsumarketing.cloud. It tries to digitalise the day to day operations happening across multiple digital agency teams while handling clients. It also aims towards promoting better strategies that occur when different organisations with common clients collaborate to face challenges together, including co-innovation.
Why client portfolio?
We perceived that the organisation’s user structure on our platform often created two challenges for our users. The first being, uncontrolled information flow and second, low data privacy where there was limited information of who has access to what level of ad accounts.
We also realized that it was time to build on a common ground for communication within the already favoured tools and look at the logical grouping of different ads-accounts across different social platforms.
How are we doing this?
To answer this, we decided upon
1. Client-oriented architecture: An architecture based on the roles of the users with respect to the client.
2. Optimization Opportunities: Proactive alerts from the platform to the teams handling the clients.
3. Alerts: Notifications based on the KPI set by the teams.
4. Collaboration: Share the output of the tools within and outside the organisation
5. Consolidation: Grouping of the accounts across different platforms under a single client which is sharable across organisations.
